Hard Calls Under Huge Pressure - 2026

GenAI Engagement

+12% engagement on ~50K MAU
ering

Context

  • AI newsletter (15 sources), localized by geo & language (FR, IT, EN, PL)

Challenge

  • Compliance blocking go-live

  • Limited capacity (revenue-critical projects)

  • Needed reliable AI output in production

Decision

  • Built multi-source GenAI pipeline (filtering + ranking)

  • Enforced source validation (high-signal only)

  • Chose quality over full automation

  • Split team to deliver in parallel

Trade-off

  • Automation vs control

  • Speed vs compliance

Outcome

  • Feature ready before approval

  • +12% engagement on ~50K MAU

  • No impact on revenue roadmap

Winter Olympic Games

+10K new users (from ~150K MAU)
+13% increase in average ticket size

ering

Context:

  • Token launch tied to a fixed Olympic deadline (2 months)
Full build: backend, frontend, smart contracts

Challenge:

  • Strict regulatory constraints + compliance bottlenecks
High business pressure + zero flexibility on timeline

Decision:

  • Prioritized time-to-market over technical perfection
Accepted backend technical debt (hardcoded logic)

Trade-off:

  • Speed & market timing vs long-term code quality

Outcome:

  • Successful go-live on deadline
    Captured a time-critical market

Backend Architecture Migration

↓ (clave),  0 downtime / 0 service interruptions, 0 financial loss during migration

Context:

  • Migration from monolith to microservices in a 24/7 crypto trading environment

Challenge:

  • No downtime allowed (live market always active)

  • High risk: failures = direct financial loss

  • Needed to improve latency without breaking the system

Decision:

  • Executed phased migration (service-by-service)

  • Prioritized latency reduction and system stability

  • Deployed during low-activity windows

Trade-off:

  • Migration speed vs system reliability

Outcome:

  • Reduced latency → improved trade execution

  • 0 downtime, 0 incidents, 0 financial loss

  • Enabled scalable microservices architecture

HOW I WORK IN B2B

portfolio_productos (11)_edited.jpg

I work hand by hand in collaboration building products using agile with: Business + UX + Technology

Prioritization under pressure: a real product challenge.

"After identifying that the 5 key initiatives were aligned with the business and user needs, I found that 4 of them were critical with the same score. Two of these initiatives had a direct impact on clients and SLA, while the other two affected operational metrics and infrastructure. Since the team only had capacity for 3 initiatives in the sprint, I prioritized the 2 related to clients and SLA and chose one operational initiative with the greatest immediate impact. This prioritization was clearly communicated to stakeholders, helping align expectations and ensure the most critical initiatives were tackled first."

In moments like this, product isn’t about doing everything — it’s about choosing what matters most.
